Wow, what a gorgeous place! It was a steep drive up like the host warned us, but we couldn't believe our eyes when we reached the top of the mountain. The panoramic view was unforgettable, and we loved that we could see it from inside the cabin thanks to the large windows. The cabin had most of the essentials we needed (luckily we did bring a few provisions just in case), and the host's communications assured we brought the necessary bedding. Overall, a rejuvenating place to disconnect from the busy-ness of life and reconnect with your partner (or your inner self!).

We had a wonderful stay in the Skyline Lodge. Everything was to our liking and the hosts were very responsive to our needs. The views from the cabin were spectacular and it was nice having a fire in a small pot belly stove in the cabin. We would definitely consider returning in the future and will tell our friends about the accommodations.

Such a fun overnight getaway! Perfect in every way! The uniqueness of the property was different from anything we have stayed in before and there was plenty to explore and do around town.

We had such a great time staying in the treehouse. The peace and quiet is unmatched. It was exactly what we expected and needed. No kids, no dogs, no chores. Doug and Jen have a beautiful property and we would highly recommend staying there.

What a fantastic place, fresh air, star gazing and most importantly you can disconnect if wanted. Looking for something different, this is it. From the Biltmore to Hendersonville to Asheville it will not disappoint! By far our favorite placed we stayed!!!! The drive up the Mountain is well worth it. The host was fantastic and responsive in every way. We can’t wait for our next trip. The Pastore’s

We had an amazing stay! The cabin was so cozy and private. The views were stunning! They are not exaggerating about needing 4WD to get up the mountain. It was extremely steep, loose gravel, and had sharp curves. My 4WD 04 Ford Escape did great getting up though. Once you’re up there, it’s just breathtaking!! We will definitely be coming again and we’re recommending this place to everyone we know.

I always wanted to overnight in a fire tower, and Doug double checking my wood supply on a below freezing night was extra nice! The solitude was as perfect as the layout. If you section or thru hike you can appreciate all the extras and experience. The treehouse has 63 steps up to that view, just so you are prepared! I used my zero degree down bag and merino base layers and was probably good down to single digits in case you are considering a winter trip. AND, be sure you have proper tires on your AWD vehicles for winter conditions of mud and snow.
