★ OFF-THE-GRID SITE – ADDITIONAL INFO ★ Living off the grid, surrounded by a breathtaking natural environment, is a truly magical experience. However, there are some things you need to be aware of before you arrive at this dreamy haven. ☆ Electricity ☆ This site is off-grid and not connected to the electric grid. There is a solar-powered generator for cell phones and laptops. 3G is excellent, so you won’t have trouble checking your messages or texting your loved ones. ☆ Steep Access – 4 Wheel Drive Only ☆ Access is well maintained but too steep for 2-wheel drive. If you are coming with a 2-wheel drive car, you can park and hike for about 15 minutes until you reach the cottage. ☆ Kindling & Wood ☆ Please note we do not supply wood for the outdoor fire pits. If you wish to bring some you are more than welcome to. We do supply wood,fire starters and kindling for the indoor woodstove.. ☆ Wildlife ☆ Bears are extremely shy but hungry. Please store all the food. If you are an early riser and quieter, you may see bobcats, foxes, deer, turkeys, hawks, falcons, grouse, owls, and ravens. ☆ Linens &Bedding ☆ Bring your sheets and bedding for the queen mattress, which is hermetically sealed and disinfected for your protection. ★ ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION ON THE PROPERTY ★ Traveling in a larger group, or your preferred dates are already taken? Unattended pets must be securely crated. Please clean up after your pet and dispose of waste properly (in trash). All wheel drive is required. the gravel road its well maintained but much to steep for 2 wheel drive vehicles. In winter months fire building and wood stove skills are required.

Loved this cabin. Beautiful views during peak season for fall foliage. Nice, quiet getaway from the city sound. Had everything you need but if you’re not fond of wooden stoves or not fire savvy try to bring your own battery powered space heater!!

The place is absolutely amazing! We only stayed one night but definitely would come back for a longer stay! The indoor fire stove was very cozy so definitely make sure you know how to use one for the winter. Once you reach the cabin the views take your breath away! Cabin is stocked with everything you need and we had no trouble getting the place toasty with the indoor stove and heating up our leftovers with the gas stove on the patio! We arrived with a 2 wheel drive and they were so accommodating and kindly offered a shuttle to drive us up the driveway. Definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive for this place if you have trouble walking up steep inclines and have to bring a lot of anything such as luggage up the hill if the shuttle service isn’t available, but they will definitely make sure you are taken care of if you are unable to walk it, their responses were very quick! We are young and love a good incline hike ,it was literally a hike of its own which was great especially for the view!

We absolutely loved this place what a gem!! We were going to stay two nights but reduced it to one just because the weather was going to be so bad. I wish it was better weather we would have loved to really enjoy it another night. We would love to come back in the future.

We had a great stay at Jen and Doug’s cliffside cabin. It was just a pictured, a cute little cabin on an overhanging rock. We had everything we needed to stay warm and cozy with the wood burning stove including an extra box of wood our hosts graciously provided on a cold weekend to stay warm overnight. The cabin was very close to all the hiking and zip lining we came to do and still a short drive to great restaurants and stores.

A little slice of paradise!! Our favorite Airbnb ever! If you love breathing the fresh mountain air while taking in a gorgeous view this place is for you. From the open air cabin to the fire pit under the rock , there’s no place like it. It has everything you need to make for a quiet, peaceful retreat with nature. Come try it, you are sure to fall in love with this one of a kind place.

I booked the cliffside cabin to celebrate the completion of something I've been working on. This was the perfect reward! Everything was exactly as described...but better! The most stunning views, privacy, fall foliage, sunset and sunrise views... Im smitten! I travel solo and felt so safe and so cozy here. As a bonus, Jen let me know there was live music in the pavilion and my night got even better. I would 200% recommend and will absolutely be back.

This was a very rustic, beautiful and unique experience. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful get away! The hosts were extremely helpful surrounding supporting us in whatever we needed in regard to supplies and transportation. Thank you so much for the experience! And we definitely plan to return!!

We recommend that you arrive in a car as it will give you much freedom to explore, enjoy the beautiful and breathtaking nature of Eastern Continental Divide, and venture to other locations. As you already know, we offer a free parking spot. FOUR WHEEL DRIVE OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE ONLY! The gravel road is well maintained but VERY STEEP. There is 2 wheel drive parking at the bottom of gravel access road.
