If you want a beautiful remote weekend escape this place is second to none. This place is fully off the grid, with solar powered lighting. So if you want bougie go find a hotel in Asheville, but if you’re a poet who’s always wanted to sleep in a fire tower (that has a bed), this spot is for you.

Jen and Doug’s Cliffside cabin was magical! Even without AWD, we were able to park and be shuttled up to the Airbnb right when we arrived. The place was clean and cozy with a breathtaking view. I only wish we could’ve stayed another night! Jen and Doug were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Stayed at the Tree House with two young kids and our dog. It was amazing!
The views are incredible. There’s a nice pavilion with incredible 360 degree views right across the driveway.
We cooked several meals in the outdoor kitchen, roasted marshmallows by the fire, hiked around the property, and enjoyed the peaceful sound of nature.
Jen and Doug are quick to respond and are great hosts. We will certainly be back again!

You just can’t deny the view. It was stunning. Jen and Doug were very nice to me. Will definitely visit here again if I road trip to NC or nearby states.

My husband and I wanted a short trip with our dogs to escape the city life. Jen was great with communication and was very kind. The cabin was adorable and the view was even better!

Fantastic place, my girlfriend and I stayed for one evening it was extremely beautiful. The photos truly do not do it justice. Very private. The spring shower was so peaceful. They supply fans for the room so it doesn’t get too hot and the mountain breeze gives it even more peacefulness. If you are contemplating staying here do yourself justice and just book it! We Will definitely be back

Only thing I would change during the day the heat inside the tree house could be a little bit overwhelming.
Overall beautiful place! Would make an awesome get away for the fall season !

Lovely place to stay! The road definitely needs at least 4WD. You are staying in a treehouse 50ft in the air so expect it to have a bit of sway. Exactly what I expected and was absolutely beautiful. One of the nights we watched the fog roll up the mountain and it was an awesome experience. Would come back again in the future!

Wow! It’s hard to put into words how magical the place was. Peaceful, beautiful, rejuvenating, unique…if you’re looking for a truly special experience, immersed in nature, to unwind, and disconnect, I can’t imagine a better place than this. A truly special stay. I can’t wait to return.

Treehouse Therapy at Its Finest ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This treehouse is the definition of forest magic. Watching the mist roll in over the trees in the morning felt like stepping into a dream. Sunset was equally spectacular, with golden light spilling through the forest canopy.
It was peaceful beyond words—quiet, still, and grounding in the best way—like the trees are personally tucking visitors into a cocoon of calm. If you're looking for a space to truly unplug and reconnect with nature with a sprinkle of enchantment, this is it. Every detail was thoughtfully done, and the energy of the place is calm and restorative. Can't wait to return. 🌲✨
